Starting this up as Penny Arcade has just brought the site live again for this year. Already they've started off with nearly $200,000 of donations. As we do every year, I'd like to get a Massassi fund set up, so we can send them one nice big "check" from Massassi as a group.

If you want to pitch in, send a donation of any amount to coolmatt@sorrowind.net (note the LACK of the letter Y) via PayPal. Make sure to set as a donation/gift, so there aren't any fees taken out of it! Also, make sure to include what it's for and what your Forum username is, so that I may credit you here.

This year, anyone who donates to the fund will get a small signifying icon on their title ([http://forums.massassi.net/childsplayico.png]). I'll be running this all the way until December 30th, at 11:59PM EST. Donations will go straight to Child's Play right after, on December 31st.

If you're unable to pitch in this year, you can still help by spreading the word. The activism page on the Child's Play site has plenty of ways to do so!

After paying my bills this month, scoring a few inexpensive Xmas presents, and seeing everyone pitch in, I figured I could double dip in order to get someone else to round it off to 200. Plus those controllers are nifty.

Paypal does take a regular credit card, if you don't want to get an account, by the way.

Just donated. Since most people will read this thread though, I wanted to thank all the people who sent me messages about woot's HDTVs that popped up during that woot-off, I picked one up but didn't send any individual message replys because there were a lot.

Glad to see Massassi is in for the good causes.
Already donated for work (Wendy's annual adopt a child program).
Each year our store adopts a kid for christmas. Between all the crew members we were able to get over $200 for the little guy.
I'll see if I can donate for Massassi too.
