Well, Science Team believes those wretched things can be trained. After cycles of trying, I believe Science Team has vapor for brains.

Wow... Massassi hasn't changed at all lol.

Seriously though, I don't understand why the guy reacted like he did... When you buy a ticket, your basically consenting to the policys of the TSA and such. Hell, they even gave him his options in a calm and clear manner, but he still insisted on acting like that.... Any opinions on body scans, searches, etc.?

Actually, airlines aren't required to use the TSA for security. But they would be crazy to own the part of the process customers hate themselves. Expect either the feds to cave or some airline to pop up that circumvents the TSA.

from what i have heard from interviews with the guy, he is a bit of a "botherer" but this time he actually went out of his way to look online and find a airport that said it did NOT use the body scans. then he gets to the air port after purchasing a ticket and finds out they DO use body scans even though they said they didnt. he refused the body scan and the pat down. TSA said fine you can choose not to fly then. guy says ok leaves and then TSA tells him he STILL need to complete the body scan or pat down or be fined or possibly face prison time. <that is what i find unacceptable.

granted you knid of have to take the situation with a grain of salt as im sure the guy intended to be confrontational with the TSA anyways.

Is this thread just in reference to some news story that I'm supposed to have found somewhere else? With ONE word in the opening post?

I don't know how to approach this :gonk:.

Google: Don't touch my junk.

But don't worry, everyone, as Janet Napolitano points out, "there are other ways to travel". In other words, if you don't submit to incredibly invasive security searches, sit at the back of the bus and shut up. I guess checkpoints should be legal, too? I mean, we don't want people driving down the road to be unsafe. Maybe we should allow police to set up checkpoints at county borders where every car is stopped and thoroughly searched inside and out, and people are patted down. That wouldn't be an illegal search either, because, hey, there are other ways to travel. Like walking.

there are rumblings about setting up similar search/scan points for trains an subways as well.

also do they realize all they have to do is hire attractive women to do the pat down and most guys would not complain...

You can't, the images are supposed to be erased after the scan to ensure privacy... However, these images are starting to pop up all over the place, so someone somewhere is keeping them to release later... You should go for it though, what are they gonna do, ask you to take out your hose? If that image got out, could be your ticket to fame... >_>
