Ok, I have been looking through some old levels to play for JK as usual. Now it has been a while and I can't remember what ever happened to the Star Wars total conversion for JK, I know it was never finished... there are a few levels here on massassi, but where there any others that were ever released?

I only remember a trailer here and there. Where you'd load the level up in JK, and it was a scripted in-game trailer.

I assume you're talking about SWTTC (Star Wars Trilogy Total Conversion)? It was hosted at OutpostD34 back in the day. I still have one of their trailers somewhere, it didn't actually have much content aside from a dianoga eye, a TIE Fighter and the Slave One taking off. And a nice tune.

But yeah the project disappeared from the surface of the Internet with the outpost. In 2004 I had a conversation with Burrie about it, apparently he was involved in the project. He said he had some of the project files, including a purportedly amazing Hoth level (I think he said it was the best Hoth level he had ever seen for a Star Wars game), on his old computer. He didn't get those files for me when I asked. A few years later I think he said to me that he had made a server out of the computer and the files were lost for good due to reformatting and stuff.

That's a shame.

So yeah, TDiR was pretty much the only TC that got released. Unless you count something else into that category... >.>

I think I specifically remember the Hoth level he is talking about because we RPGed there once a loooooong time ago, and if it is the one I'm thinking of it really was amazing.

I seem to recall that some material from The Phantom Menace TC was released... but all I ever saw of the SWTTC was screenshots.

I remember 'leaking' all the models I made for the trade federation ship at some point, but I know I never finished the level and mine was the furthest along in the whole mod.

Never was a Dragon Ball Z fan so that's probably why I don't recall it... but the Screen Shots look great! I may try this out

Also, there appears to be a rather bland SWTTC Tatooine level in the levels section. As well as TPMTC's Mos Espa. And speaking of the latter, was I the only one who noticed this thread? Oh well!
