Gift giving to those who have everything?

I run into this problem every year, and usually end up giving nothing, or some crappy gift, but I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

I'm friends with this family (The VPO of my company), and they always invite me over for Christmas (all holidays really...) but I can never think of anything to give them that they either don't already have, or could very easily buy themselves...

I was considering making some food and bringing that, but that's about the best idea I have thus far...

Anyone?

I would try to find something exotic that would be difficult for them to discover or they wouldnt normally buy on their own. (I'm thinking Alcohol but could be anything).
My favorite JKDF2 h4x:

I thought of Alcohol as well, but they aren't really drinkers. They're an odd bunch, in that most rich people have rich tastes. They're very simple, but they have everything simple people like/want/need.

Haha! That sounds like a terrible idea. Besides, getting invited to all of their family holidays seems about as good as I want to be in with them.

You need more training in the thoughts of men.

This. I'd rather not incur my bosses wrath.
