that is pretty awesome! i imagine it will probably only be used for military or maybe industrial/comercial aplications at least at first.

....fewer jet engines, but enough money to buy 10,000 airplanes.


You know what I just realized? Absolutely no articles mention if it's transparent. They just say it's a glass, but glasses cover a fairly wide spectrum of material properties. I'd put pretty good money on it being completely opaque (but probably shiny.)

Interesting, but nothing too revolutionary. Companies have even made palladium and steel glasses before.
