The Never-ending Avatar Contest (that ends 1/31/11)
What is this? Did Geb put you up to it?
This is another Avatar contest, similar to the logo contest. Instead of making a silly holiday logo, you will now be required to make posts on the Never-ending Story Squared thread, in the Interactive Storyboard Forum. And no, this was not Geb's idea. As of writing, he doesn't even know about it >.>
Oh God, what do I have to do?
Simply put, write for the thread! The person who has the largest word count by the end of the month (across all posts they make between now and then in that thread) will be allowed an avatar of their choosing, to last until the next contest.
What are the rules?
You do NOT need to read the entire thread. It is recommended that you read the previous post, but reading beforehand is not required!
Your posts MUST make some semblance of sense. It is highly suggested that you go off the current writer plotline to make it easy on yourself, but you may also start a new subplot, or if you DO read the thread, you can continue the story as well. The options are nearly endless, do not worry too much about plotholes, the NeS is filled with 'em.
Remember, you get credit by the word, not the number of posts! Don't spam!
Stick with the spirit of this game, don't be an ass. I reserve the right to kick anyone out of the contest if they're being stupid/trolling.
The deadline?
Again, the end of this month, January!
Good luck! Have fun!
