I meant to post this on the 9th of December, but with the hustle and bustle of things it slipped my mind. Reviewing some crap in the admin forums reminded me.

Holy crap it has been seven years now since MaDa passed away. Some of you haven't even been on the site that long.

The thread doesn't really have a purpose other than to publicly state that I was thinking about MaDa today and before. And that he's still missed. :(

Yeah, I still miss him, even if I talked to him like 5 times or so. But those were good times.

Soon's the 2nd anniversary of Vegiemaster's death as well. :(

I miss both of them.

I remember testing Acid Storage Facility and playing MLP3 with MaDa. :( Good times.

Damn.

I knew Adam better than Nate, but they were both great guys.

Worst part is, not only did they absolutely not deserve to die before their times, but it was such a surprise in both cases -- Adam thought that his cancer/brain tumour was safely in remission, and no one had any inkling of the problems with Nate's heart.

To both of you, wherever it is that you may be -- know that you are missed.

I can't wait for the day schools get the money they need, and the military has to hold bake sales to afford bombs.

I still remember when I introduced him to Massassi proper... it was on the IGZ, and he was showing some goofy saber skins he made. .(

That island level was beautiful.

I was talking with someone about him the other day, saying I almost didn't want to look up the date. Any time I get into a religious argument, and it gets heated, I remember Adam defending me from his MSN friends and it's easy to let it go.

I still think about Vegie sometimes when I'm going to bed, or any time I use my webcam. :(

I didn't know the guy (I was more of a lurker back then & mainly stayed on the editing forums) but I was familiar with his work & I was around when he died. It was sad just having played his maps, enjoying his textures & reading all of the comments in the thread when his death was announced.
? :)
