Where do you put your wallet?

So as I was leaving to go out today, I put my wallet in my back left pocket. I stopped for a second and wondered why I always put it in my back left pocket and not the back right. I went ahead and tried the back right pocket for a moment and it just felt completely unnatural.

As a result of this, I thought this would be interesting to see what everyone else tends to do.

If I don't have a purse to put my wallet in, then I'll put it in one of my back pockets. Doesn't really matter which though.

I used to keep it in the back right. Now I typically keep it in side left unless I'm wearing a suit.

Front left pocket. Habit I got into after the war lololool

And it's not a man purse it's a satchel with weapons and (woman) repelling gear.

Front left unless I'm at work in which case left jacket pocket.

I find it uncomfortable to have it in my back pocket when I sit down and it feels like it'd be really easy to steal.

In my 'purse' or in the inside pocket of my jacket. (Where's that option?)

Keeping your wallet in the back pocket will not only screw up the pants, it will screw up bankcards too. Sitting on your bank card with your whole weight plus lots of coins in the wallet will do that.

Stopped keeping it in my back pocket years ago after it screwed up a bank card again.

Never really had a problem with messing up bank cards, but I dont keep any coins in my wallet either.

front right always has been always will be...

unless i'm just going to get something from a drive through or dropping off a movie or something where i don't bother putting on pants because the shorts i wear when i'm at home don't stay up too good with a wallet in the pocket... and my sweatpants all have stupidly tiny pockets in which case i either just grab my ID and debit card/cash or put the wallet in a jacket pocket

If they are cargo shorts/pants it goes in the side thigh pocket. If not then in the upper hand pocket, or in the front pocket of a hoodie. Or breast pocket if the shirt has one. I will never put my wallet in the rear.

I carry two. One for money / cards / license / etc. , the other for my badge / other miscellaneous identifications. Money wallet in the back right pocket, badge wallet in the back left.

I don't use a wallet.

I keep my id's and cards and stuff in my front left pocket while in civilian clothes, and in my left breast pocket while in uniform.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Granted, my 'wallet' is a metal cigarette case that only has cards and condoms in it...

The cash I occasionally carry goes in the fifth pocket of my jeans or in the buttoned back pocket of khakis.

I've always been in the habit of keeping my wallet in my back right pocket. It's never messed up any of my cards other than if they get stuck in the wrong position and break (gift cards are the worst).

It depends on situation:
1) Front left pocket if out downtown.
2) Back left pocket when shopping, at work, etc.
3) Left jacket pocket (if I'm wearing a jacket).

Jacket pocket, both my normal jacket and my matrix coat are full of pockets, and I keep all kinds of things in there. Even if it's hot (which is rare in my town) it usually cools down by the time I would come home so it makes sense to carry a jacket anyway.
During summer (which is about a week long here) when it is HOT and hot all the time, I rarely go out at all, if I do go out and I do need my wallet... it'd be a front pocket, back-pocket is weird and uncomfortable.
Front pockets tend to be more spacious, less likely for you to feel anything inside, and has the big advantage that you don't sit on them.

I voted purse, but I usually carry a backpack. My wallet is huge and would never fit in my pocket (especially as girl's jeans always have stupidly small pockets)

Basically this. I don't have a wallet per se, just an epic cigarette case for my cards and cash, so it's a bit larger than most wallets.

Some of my pants actually have big enough pockets in which case it can go in the front, or the pockets in a field jacket fit it quite well also. But most of the time it goes in my purse.

Back right unless I'm in a major city, then I switch it to the front somewhere or in an inside coat pocket.

i put my hands in my front pocket too much for me to put my wallet in there so in the back left it goes. change/misc in front left, keys on a carabiner above and headphones in the front right. phone is either in my left shirt pocket or right back.

Front right, after seeing a video on pickpockets. Even though there probably aren't any in my city, it's just so much easier to pick a back pocket than a front.

Front left. I wish I didn't, I hate having something so bulky in my pants pockets, but it's the only place that is convenient and where I won't lose it.
