As we speak, Australia is getting hit by their greatest storm in recorded history. Apparently the wind is (or will be) at 89 meters per second.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

wtfever, it was -13 this morning, -35 with windchill yesterday morning. Getting ready for work today I had the unprecedented bonus of getting to scrape frost off the /inside/ of my car windows..
Also, I can kill you with my brain.
2011-02-02, 8:08 AM #11
whats best with that is when you have to drive a few miles but you need to see and its constantly freezing your breath on the windshield inside. you end up with either little holes to see out of until it warms slightly or very low mileage during winter from warming it up beforehand

It's dipping into the single digits this week here around DFW. I think this has only happened once in the last 20 or so years. Frackin' cold....

Hell yeah it is...

I go to school in Arlington at UTA, classes canceled Tuesday until Friday.

When I moved in in August, it was 115 (105 in the shade). Now, it's barely above 0 (below 0 with windchills). No school for a week is nice. :)

**** that. I get wickid pissed when my classes get cancelled which fortunately isn't much. Unless the college sends me a reimbursement check in the mail for every cancelled class, they better keep them opened, I'm paying for that ****.

I've actually heard this from other Texas residents. I guess they forgot it was almost 80 degrees two days ago.
