The two seconds of gameplay footage they showed was Gears of War covering, and that made me really really skeptical.

But to be honest, I've been playing the original and I just can't get into it. It's really hard, and the graphics pull me out quite a bit. I feel horrible admitting that, considering the community I'm still a part of.

So did I, the AI is honestly pretty terrible. Only problem I ever had was ammo.

Hey guys keep your eyes out for my DX mod.

Anyhow, I pre-ordered that game but due to preparations I can only play it in June. I'll try to play it not thinking it's a DX game, maybe it'll help. Maybe not. I dunno. I'll find out in June.

Will most of the game consist of that light-yellow/orangish glow? Because I would honestly start to feel sick if I had to play through the game with that sort of art direction coloring scheme.

I know they try to balance it out with blue, like the orange-blue color theory idea, but seriously...

Fellout was the best mod I ever downloaded for Fallout 3.

I just downloaded Deus Ex 1 last night because ive never played it so far, just beat the statue of liberty first mission, seems VERY good so far

It's one of the best games ever past the statue mission. I beat it once a year..

yeah i love it so far, probably because i LOVE unreal 1 and the original unreal tournament, and the engine really gives that feel

I played DX through four or five times. It's staggering the amount of ways you can approach some missions; some are a bit more linear though. Once you've got maximum power in your SUPERFASTJUMPYLEGS you can breeze through loads of the game though.

Also fun is getting max power in your aggressive defence before your fight with Walton Simons because his rockets blow up in his face and kill him with minimum intervention. Most satisfying after his little speech in the forerun up to the fight.

I just beat Deus Ex 1...like..I just don't even know anymore..that may be the greatest game I've ever played...I chose the ending where you merge with the AI ...it was..so incredible

i cant believe i waited 11 years to experience this..maybe its better because i truly understand the messages now

It's strangely creepy, maybe even seems egotistical... but I guess they didn't have to hire a model to work from?
