So, I happened to click on "Reboot" at wikipedia and was given a short list of examples. One caught my eye because I just happened to mention to my wife a couple nights ago that Conan is actually a film that could benefit from a remake, so long as it's done properly.

So, we have seen Arnold portray Conan:

We have seen (well, maybe you haven't) Ralf Moeller play Conan:

Well, meet your new Conan:

I'll keep an open mind but this guy just doesn't seem to fit the bill. Oh well, maybe we'll get another reboot three years later!

Definitely looks more barbarian-ish...

Robert E. Howard is rolling over in his grave because they chose a Conan so Mediterranean looking.

A swarthy Conan goes against everything the (unedited) stories stood for.

He was beastly as Ronon Dex in Stargate Atlantis. I thought he'd be the perfect fit when I heard he would play the new Conan.

I think he looks too small.

I think he looks like the best Conan yet.

I think there have just been far too many good artistic renderings of Conan for me to agree with that statement.

I think the last guy looks much more like that artistic rendering than the previous Conans. I think it's about time he looked manly.
I still can't get over how they managed to make Arnold Cohan look poncey

looking forward to seeing how it turns out

they better have the piece of music "The Kitchen and The Orgy" in there, wonderful piece from the first two films

Well, I think Arnold had the size. Moeller had even better size and more rugged features although the program was a terrible interpretation of the character. If this new film has the character down I might be able to forgive his slight build (comparatively) and pretty boy coolness. Maybe. Although I'm not actually holding out much hope for this film.
