Some awesome stuff getting exposed at Toyfair, so let's discuss some of the ones we like best.

Really liking the Duke, and looking forward to getting Claptrap there so I can have my other toys brutally murdering him over and over. NECA's got a strong showing this year.

Less strong is Mattel, throwing used and reused and overreused sculpts at us over and over again, though the evil Justice League looks pretty awesome.

Elsewhere, I have nothing but excitement for the upcoming Transformers 3 toyline, and Hasbro seemed to dominate the show, really. I need to restrain myself or else I'll gush, but there's some very interesting stuff going on with the new smaller Human Alliance figures, very MASK like; the new voyager Megatron (though I've seen better pictures elsewhere), and the leader class Sentinel Prime (likewise, better pictures elsewhere)... plus this guy whose name I don't even know, but I want him.
I really wish I could say the same for the Ultimate Optimus, but it's so busy looking and oddly proportioned and I'm pretty sure it's mistransformed and... bah, I'll need to see some in-hand video from a fan before I can make my decision.
(Side note: They also showed some of the Transformers Prime figures at Toyfair, but they were so badly transformed and with such lackluster photography I won't even sully this thread with them, the stock photos are much better executed)

Meanwhile, in the Misc Category, I never ever cared for Thundercats as a kid but the 8 inch classics line looks pretty nifty, I gotta say.

-So, my votes: Hasbro and NECA are gonna be stealing money right out of my pocket, as usual, and though I probably won't get any of the Thundercats figures I still might check them out. Now, check the links and find something you like.

I did notice that, his head looks a bit shorter than it should. I'm hoping it's just the prototype being a bit melty (happens sometimes) or maybe just the odd angle it's tilted at, which you can kinda see.
Also, his shoulders are a bit of a mystery, but he's got articulated legs, elbows, and knees, plus an ab crunch, so he's pretty posable all around.

-[Edit]Update! Looks like Bandai's trying to steal the show by reminding us all that, yes, there's a Bandai of Japan too. Possible domestic releases of SHFiguarts and other goodies on the table? Who knows.

Another update: SHFiguarts are coming to America, which is big news for fans of bugmen and DBZ (myself falling into the latter category).

-All in all, awesome Toyfair.

i really like the wolverine vs. sabertooth set. but other than that kind of let down by the x-men selection.
Welcome to the douchebag club. We'd give you some cookies, but some douche ate all of them. -Rob

Oooh, the TF2 figures look interesting.

-So does the Aperture Science turrets, though they're a bit big looking. Maybe they're more desk toys than action figures.
