The over the top cooking script seemed a little contrived. But every time I've seen or heard a bit of his interview or other antics on TV or radio (hard to avoid lately) I've thought it was funny as hell. I don't get why people are so up in arms. (Well, I DO, but people are prudes.) He says what he wants to say and not what he should say unlike most people in his situation.
