About to eat dinner, but my biggest problem with the whole thing is this political "play both sides" BS that everyone is doing. Why do we always have to make our mission the most murky, nonspecific and impossible to nail down objectives possible, and then get into a big debate about why or how we are meeting those "goals"?

Not to mention that I think now is not the right time to get involved in yet another foreign civil war. Is the cause just? Probably, but where were you when you were *****ing about Iraq and Afghanistan and saying "bring the troops home!"? Do you want to remove Gaddafi or not? If no, then do nothing. If yes, then remove him. Do you want to rebuild the government? If no, then leave, if yes, then stick around for several years. Quit fiddle-****ing around like you're trying to ask a girl out without admitting that you like her.

The Arab League agreed to a no-fly zone. When I put that through my Insane Dictator-to-Human translator I get "we agree that Gaddafi will have to murder his people using tanks and artillery instead of planes." So **** them all.

Western powers are dithering about because they want to get rid of Gaddafi, but they want the rebels/Arabs to do it so it won't look like western imperialism.
