Hello all... I've been lurking around the JK:DFII community since before the release of JK:DFII and the otherday I found myself back here downloading mods for JK:DFII... again.... anyways this got me to thinking what my favorite game was of all time and it wound up being JK:DFII. This inspired me to write an article about it and I gave you and your community mention there.

I should mention that my intention is not to advertise but just to let you know that I and I'm sure many other still appreciate the content you guys still put out and that we still think about you

Nah spammers need to die. They are the bane of my exisitence. I swear to god I never realized how much of a problem spammers were until i ran my own website. My forum got flooded with over 2000 messages one day just from one spam bot. I spent hours cleaning up that mess

I guess I should ask how is the community doing these days? Last time I was involved in the editing community I was helping with the DLL digout project for Star Wars Rebellion I believe we were making RebEd and it was going well before he magically disappared one day. Before that I worked with Datamasters XvT website but they have long since disappeared.

I feel the same way about Jedi Knight. It was about the only game I played for years on end.

You do realize that JK2 is actually Jedi Outcast, not Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, right? Jedi Knight is simply abbreviated JK.

We actually pretty peachy.

Imagine if you will, teeth. You eat a lot of candy. Fun stuff. But after awhile you say to yourself, "you know, I think I may need teeth, for future food consumption." So you brush and eat candy less and less. And brush and brush more. So your teeth look pretty clean, all that grim and sugar from your fun days of eating candy aren't visible anymore. But in that one corner, all the way back in the molars, there is this one little black and green spot. It's a cavity. And dammit all, you can't brush it away.

I'm sorry we can't introduce ourselves better. You see, we have someone called the "Salutations Scotsman" named Baconfish but he was recently on a kindey-killing drinking binge to wash away his personal insecurities and fears (which may or may not be the results of being Scottish). But no matter, do not concern yourself on his mental instablity, we saw it coming for years.

So what ever happened to the Outbound Flight Project and Datamasters... I saw them disappear one day in my lurking and in addition to that what happened to the Star Wars Modeling Alliance. I used to go there alot too. I apologize about my million questions

Also, I totally got thrown off by all the icons in the original post until I realised he was colon & uppercase D. I was like, WTF is JK:DFII? Is this yet another spambot? Then it clicked and I kind of felt like a Baconfish.

So how do i get this JKE mod to work. Everytime i launch the game it doesn't load it when using JK Launcher. Perhaps I am doing something wrong? Does anyone still play multiplayer?
