I just realized today was the birthday of Sir Alec Guinness! I believe he would have been 97 today.

I think it was more the fanatics than the role himself, which would drive me nuts too if I'm honest...

I remember the weekend he died, the BBC aired the episode of Parky that he was interviewed on back in '77. He had nothing but really positive things to say about the project. I guess though he could've been under some sorta contract, but it was still weirdly fascinating seeing them discuss something before it became the huge phenomena it is.
