anyone but fox for their packaging of the new narnia movie...

first we have a slip cover

IT'S GLUED TO THE ****ING ADHESIVE MEANT TO HOLD THE GODDAMN SLEEVE PORTION TOGETHER

after i exchange this for a copy that isn't glued into the case i'm putting it straight into an extra bluray case and sitting the "collectible packaging" right next to my harry potter 1-5 school trunk case

I haven't seen the most recent one but I would expect it to be excellent like the others.

In short, yes. It's an SD copy of the film though.

digital copy is just a DRMed file containing the movie

the codecs/containers used depend on the studio/purpose... most will be in wmv though some studios do digital copy through itunes which is probably some form of m4v or mp4 container and sony's digital copy is for PS3/PSP use and it uses some proprietary container format

also digital copy often comes in 2 flavors... a standard def copy at ~1-2GB for PC use and a lower resolution copy at ~600-700MB for portable players (the main target for the "portable" file is ipods/iphones)

the real question here is why would anyone over the age of 8 buy this crap?
