- Saints Row The Third
zomg SR2 was great, and now they're giving us a third one? It's amazing how nice some companies are. SR3 YES PLEASE! Sadly, we have no release date, but I guess that's for the better so they can polish it up.

- L.A. Noire
This game is looking awesome, but that's not all! In the US it's released on the 17th of May, which happens to be three days after my 27th birthday, and 2011 (this year) minus 5 (May) plus 1 (the number of months from now that the game is released) equals 2007...what I'm saying is that that's a lot of 7s.

- Mortal Kombat
Looking like an epic gorefest, I don't really care much for fighting games and I guess Mortal Kombat was never among the deepest and most rewarding gameplay experiences when it comes to such games, but it has a lot of gore and I've seen a bunch of videos where the female characters had their breasts bounce according to the characters' movement and it looked like they did it better than Team Ninja ever managed with DOA. To me, if I must play a fighting game, the so called boob bounce feature must be incorporated into the whole experience in a way that makes me want to pick a female character pretty much every time just to see it in action.

- Deus Ex Human Revolution
I never really got into the first DX to be honest...I guess I'm just adding this because it's popular so I can look like one of the cool nerds, while really I'm just a nerd nerd.

I think SR3 is the only one off this little list that I will purchase no matter what everyone says when it's out, that's how high hopes I have for it.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Battlefield 3. I just hope I can get a computer before then, but the 360 version will do, if not.

Man, I'm still "waiting" for games that are already out, because I don't yet have the money for them. Dragon age one and two, elemental war of magic, sw force unleashed 2. Are the witcher 2 and two worlds 2 out yet? Everyone said two worlds one was the worst rpg ever, but other than text on the screen being too tiny (fable 3 has the same problem, and it rocks), I thought it was a decent game. The poor mans oblivion.

Speaking of which, skyrim is the big one I'm looking forward to. So is my roommate, who us gonna buy it the day it comes out, so I can play his copy! :D

Also mass effect 3. And I keep hoping they'll make another jade empire. Let's see, fable 4. And I still want to try out an mmo one of these days. A lot if them sound cool, but if I have to choose just one it'll be the old republic, but I really wish they'd make an sp kotor 3...

Uncharted 3, Driver: San Francisco.
nope.

Well, Mortal Kombat is the soonest. Fighting games are weird for me; I like the idea of them but I'm terrible at most because I lack the patience to get really good at them. The last few Mortal Kombats have been really accessible to me for whatever reason so I'm keen to give the new one a go.

I'm also looking into Hunted: The Demon's Forge because of it's co-op feature (I've been playing as many co-op games with my brother as we can get our hands on lately), but I'll wait until closer to the release date so I can get a better idea of how good it is. Previews seem pretty upbeat about it, though.

Arkham City has been pre-ordered for a while now, that's a big one for me. I loved Arkham Asylum so news of a sequel was a happy moment in my life. And I've got all my save games set-up for Mass Effect 3 as well, which I have massively high hopes for. So I'll be busy later on this year, but there's not much going on in the intervening months.

Further away still, I'm occasionally looking out for news on Metal Gear Rising. I missed out on MGS4 due to platform exclusivity but it's still one of my favourite series so I'm keeping it in the back of my mind. While I was looking for news on Gamespot the other day I also spotted a preview for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which looks like it could be fun.

Half-Life 3 ?
The next monkey island or indiana jones game, in which they go back to a 2d point and click style made entirely by LucasArts, not in episodes.
Portal 2.

There's a ton of issues that I have with both of these games (e.g: upgrades & lack of dedicated servers) but I'm trying to remain open-minded until I actually play them.

Saints Row 3 is definitely my most wanted. Everything else pales in comparison of sheer want

I would say diablo3 but I won't have a pc that can run it...loved d2 and made $ off it....wish I could do the same when this is released but I'm no longer in hs with no bills...can't go around getting a level 99 in a week and selling it for couple hundred.........

Can someone explain to me what the big deal about Saints Row 3 is? I never played any of the games, and was never really inclined to, either. Clearly I am missing some major selling point because I don't get it.

The Saints Row games are GTA knockoffs that are better than GTA

I knew they were GTA knock-offs, what I don't get is what makes them better than GTA. I mean...'cuz I quite enjoy GTA.

Basically, Saints Row 2 came out a little while after GTA4, I bought both and had much more fun playing Saints Row 2. GTA4 takes itself too seriously, and it sacrifices fun for realism when it comes to the driving mechanics.

Yes, and they get arrested for vehicular theft and manslaughter.
Saints Row 2 even does the story better though, and the story seemed to be GTA4s selling point.
Through all of GTA4 I didn't really care that much about any of the characters, they were mostly whiny and annoying and rang way too many times. But in Saints Row 2 my heart sank when a friend got brutally murdered by those absolute bastards in the red gang.
Funny thing is though, they don't try and paint you as a good guy who does all the right things... hell even with that red gang you're definitely the ******* that caused problems when they were willing to work with you. But nooo, you want the whole damn city to yourself.
Don't mind my ranting, I just played through SR2 recenlty (for like, the fifth time). I never thought there would be a better GTA then SA. GTAIV was good, but didn't have the replayability or fun factor of previous games. I never in my unlife expected a rip-off to be so much better.
