This is borderline spam, just an FYI, but I just spent some time over the weekend working on a revamped version of "Chell in the Rain", a site that's been bouncing around the web the past few days. It's a mashup of some awesome fanart and music of Portal 2. Spoilers beware!

I've revamped it by adding HTML5 audio support (with Flash fallback), no more YouTube, and live lyrics that follow along with the song. I'm trying to get the word out there about this, so spread it wherever you can, twitter, facebook, etc. And of course, if you have any suggestions/comments, let me know. As long as it's not too difficult I'll put it in.

Also, I'm aware of small mobile devices having issues with the page, that's an unfortunate side effect of crappy CSS support with backgrounds. However, I have managed to make a special version of the site for iPad (or anyone else using a 1024px landscape tablet), it should just work for you. iOS devices will need to press play before it will function, this is not something I can fix.

for me after the page loads the timer only gets to about 00:30 and pauses, 'playing' switches to 'play' and the subtitles stop, but the music keeps playing like normal. clicking 'stop' then 'play' again fixes it. opening #noauto and clicking 'play' has the same bug.

Yea, I tested with all major browsers (Opera is not major, and has terrible HTML5 support >.>) and it was fine. Frankly, such an issue sounds like the browser itself, as that code only does what the browser's JS events tells it. Can't do much about that :/

You can just rip that background image, it's the highest quality and largest resolution version available.

Hah, awesome. The site has taken off quite a bit now! As of a few hours ago, it has already had 2100 unique visitors. That correlates into 18886 hits. Pretty crazy.
