As I type this, there is a pan of my famous EPIC BROWNIES (first attempt) sitting my ma oven.

I'm making brownies with booze and bacon? How does that make you all feel, hmm?

I was going to us pistachios, but...

You all don't know nothing about cuisine, but I'm always out for suggestions.

What do you cook friends?

The only thing I like bacon flavored is bacon.

We're having our going away party tomorrow evening. Everyone is bringing a dish &/or drinks. My wife & I are making the following dishes.
  • Date & Walnut Brownies
  • Gâteau au Chocolat
  • Salmon Rilettes
  • Tabbouleh

We're also serving fois gras (imported) with fig jam (imported) on some of the best baguettes on this side of the pond. Cooking & entertaining is our life. We'll also have plenty of beer, wine, Genmaicha tea & Ethiopian coffee for dessert.
? :)

Welcome to the douchebag club. We'd give you some cookies, but some douche ate all of them. -Rob

This was candied bacon; It wasn't actually detectable as bacon. It has a sort of toffee popcorn quality.
nope.

Now, I don't object to eating meat, I eat meat. I know animals are being treated wrong. But Foie Gras? Seriously, that's ****ed up...

**** it. They're all animals. Food. Anyway, the most disturbing thing is that some schmuck living in Kentucky would even eat stuff like that.

dont get me wrong i am certainly not overly concerned about the welfare of animals i intend to eat. its just a little... off putting, when really cruel measures are taken for the sake of something thats considered a "delicacy".

Yeah, I know. I hate animal cruelty. Animals that are raised for food should be treated as humanely as possible. All the way to the end.

Dear Internet,
Please stop putting bacon in everything. I understand it is tasty, but its flavour really doesn't have that many applications. I have in my possession a tin of bacon-flavoured mints, and I am still experiencing PTSD from its positively unholy and wretched flavour.
I'm just a little boy.

Dude I didn't do it for the flavor I did it for the name.

And I did it because I was curious about the whole salty/sweet combo. Which turned out to be delicious.
nope.
