One of my family members likes it and wants to buy it for school (the 17" she has is too big/heavy and the battery is toast)...I'd like to just give it to her but then I'm stuck buying a new one and finances are a little tight at the moment. With a little cash, I could squeeze a replacement into the budget.

I'm guessing somewhere in the $100-200 range but I'm a bit out of touch with used hardware prices now.

I'd be pretty firm on $300, have you seen what kind of laptops people sell between $100-200 on craigslist? Dinosaurs compared to that.
