So I was over at starwars.com and noticed they have a trench run game that you can play. I clicked it thinking it would be one of those silly mouse arcade-style button mashers but it was actually a pretty cool little game.

It has about 5 or so stages that involve flying around the surface of the death star to controlling Luke's x-wing and trying to avoid being shot by Vader.

I played the game on the easy difficulty as I didn't really have time to dabble any more with it tonight, but I think it's definitely worth trying if you haven't already. Only took me about 10-15 minutes to play all the way through.

For a web game, I thought it had pretty nice graphics as well. Go play it at the link below:

Erm.... no.

Unity Web player is used by no less then 3 great games online, and is pretty damn good.
BSG online is godlike.

Oh, I have no doubt that it's not something malicious. It's just that it's one more thing that I really don't need installed on my computer.

Whatever it installed must not have been a big deal because the game was up and running almost instantaneously.

That was an OK little game. Make sure you aren't stuck playing the arcade version. That got pretty repetitive.

I'm rather impressed by the graphics. It was fun nontheless for what it was.

Apparently my mouse isnt good enough to allow me to play by simply clicking "play now". It responds to nothing unless I click on the damn monkey logo where it says it cant detect any devices for me to play with (like iphone or ipod touch) but then allows me to click "play with mouse" and then im back to square one.

It also is horribly broken when playing with a track pad. Either that or the turret controls just blow.
