No. Free got a limit imposed a while back I think, Unlimited is unlimited useage with no ads for a fiver a month and premium gives you unlimited useage, 320kbps streams, no ads, offline mode and spotify mobile for a tenner a month.

I was paying back when it was introduced so I never paid much attention, but I think the limit was you can play each track five times a month then it resets.

The Euro limit on free service is a max of 10 hours streaming a month and can only play the same track 5 times a month.

That limit doesn't exist in the US version (yet).

But I use Zune Pass anyway, so I don't really care. :P

I had spotify when it was first released here. It was awesome until they limited it to 10 hours per month.

According to various articles and the spotify website itself, the limit is not one track, five times a month. It's one track, five times period.

In my opinion Spotify's free service is nothing more than a free trial without a time limit. Although I believe the actual service and software to be well worth the cost of subscription.

Not disagreeing with you, just letting people know. Personally I don't need five listens to decide whether or not to buy/download an album so I will not subscribe.

I don't use it to decide whether to purchase anything. I don't purchase music, I think it's a waste of my money, since I'd rather listen to everything I want and enjoy it now than get piddly amounts of it over time. Not arguing btw, just stating how I use it :P

Right, everyone uses it differently. It just seems from this thread that people are expecting some sort of Pandora replacement when it's really nothing of the sort.
