It's actually halfway decent, considering it's an amateur fanfilm. Seems slightly reminiscent of Ron Marz's story in "Star Wars Tales".

Also how did Vader's hand come back? And then he left the helmet? WHAT KIND OF KID LEAVES THE HELMET BEHIND?

Definitely using the sound effects from JK. The fan film could be better. Something the voices seem awkward. Like the youTube comments mention, Vader kind of sounds like General Grievous, while Maul at times sounded like King Xerxes from 300. The hand to hand combat at the beginning looked really awkward with how Maul seemed like he had to slow down for Vader to slap away his punches. Something about the saber fight choreography felt off too, once again due to Vader.

Yeah it was pretty much terrible other than the costumes, which were pretty good... other than the fact that I don't remember Darth Maul having a horn growing out of the top of his head.

The saber fight was off because Vader was fighting like they did in Episode 1-3, instead of how he actually fought in 4-6. In 4-6 Vader fought slow, calm and powerful, while when he was Anakin he was all about showing off (as was all the Jedi).

It's probably bed head.

The entire beginning sequence really reminds me of Gilrchan in paradise. And I couldn't tell, but does Darth Vader have a German accent? or is that Russian?? Where did Darth Maul get his lightsaber from???

I know, Cool Matty, but something just feels off. Like Darth Maul seems to deliberately hits Vader's saber instead of Vader him, or Vader doesn't really try to hit Maul at all. Because even in the episode 4-6 fights, Vader seems much faster and powerful in his strikes.

The costumes are decent but the acting & choreography are **** (not that the choreography was any good in the sequels).
