Hey guys.

How's it going with everyone, recently? It's been a while since anyone's posted a thread detailing special info about their personal life (since Zecks's torso interior problems situation thread?) and though threads like that dedicated to one person alone can be kinda lame, I just want to know how e'erybody doin'?

Post what you're up to in school, work, romance, hobby, etc! I am genuinely interested :D

I am currently waiting on the Military Medical Archives to get my records together and send them to me (which I hear can take a while), that way I can get sworn back in and go back to the military.

Btw, by posting a thread that specifies me as the title, you're perpetuating the idea that I'm important and that I make a difference in people's lives... since I've created a concept of self importance in your own life that goes by the name of Sarn_Cadrill.

(DISCLAIMER: I'm pretty drunk right now.. How convenient that you posted this thread at the same time as my extreme drunkenness...)

[and damn... I just posted 3 replies in a row, and legitimately didn't realize until the 3rd one...]

Or webkit in general apparently, discovered that on my iPad last night. Fixed. Silly me to expect Webkit to support the same CSS that Firefox and IE9 does! >.>

I'm a film production technician student. Somehow convinced my class to make a Romantically Apocalyptic fan film. I thought I was joking, they thought I was serious. maybe I wasnt and I just want to see the hot girl in the class in a gas mask. had a woman carve my heart out and eat it, resulting and a complete relapse of my anxiety problems, basically sending me back to the same mentally and emotionally unstable state I was in when I was in Iraq. Very frustrating.

On the plus side, since I am doing a vocational digital media program (for now) I get free tuition through a department of labour grant. This way I can save my GI Bill to pay the 60% I get for my 'real' undergraduate degree (and maybe even enough to start on a masters someday! Probably in philosophy because then I won't feel like I need to do anything with my education but I can think about it a lot. Or maybe I will become self motivated and do something with it because you know it can be useful if you try hard. But it can also be entirely useless. Hence me and the vocational program and so on and so forth.

I went out with a friend of mine on saturday. Half way through the night I realized that we were in the middle of a private swinger's party in the lounge of my buddy's bar. There was a model there that I was afraid was goingto eat me. She told me about the tv show she is trying to get made called do it now where she does things like give homeless people a lifetime supply of quarter pounders with cheese (royale with cheese) if they cut off their pinky. I made the drunken mistake of giving her my phone number. Then I met a girl who has always lived in Utah but has a british accent. We had a heart to heart. After last call at 1:00 (lame utah I no) I started stumbling to my friend's condo and stopped to get a burrito. I got outside and remembered that I don't eat meat so I threw it out. On the way home I had a panic attack so I slept in my car instead of my friend's condo.

Started seeing someone; she's a badass.

Started my first semester at SIUC (transfer), as a graphic design major. Absolutely hate it, as I'm surrounded by complete idiots (with the exception of my business management class, which is pretty kickass). People in my communication drawing class think that I'm a psychopath now, because of some jokes/trolling.

I visited my girlfriend in the engineering department. Her student organization was having a meeting. While there, I got to meet the other nerds. I think I might be transferring to computer engineering major soon. Oh, and I'll be running for vice president of the video game production club.
I can't wait for the day schools get the money they need, and the military has to hold bake sales to afford bombs.

A few months ago I spent a week in the ICU for blood clots. Ever since I've been on blood thinners, and on the 29th I'm going into surgery to have a rib removed. I also just put in my two weeks notice.

Mostly been doing a lot of overtime at work lately. 12 hour shifts from noon-midnight Mon-Fri and 10AM-6PM on Saturdays. Fortunately, it's a decent enough project (relatively anyway) and I'll ramble all about it when the game comes out, which should be November 1st.

Romance: been trying to go on dates with a girl from the improv theater classes I took not too long ago. I don't really think I'll succeed in getting anywhere, but I can hope.

Hobby: I've been trying to write a short story a week again to build and expand my writing more. Apart from that, the usual. I'm hoping when work dies down I can get back to some of the NeS-related stuff I put on hold.

And speaking of Sarn, he needs to stop with the drunk posting. :P

Screw school.
Work is fun. I basically just goof off all night. Thinking about taking a pay cut and get a real job that has room for promotion. Keep on putting it off. Right now i'm a sky cap. Might move to an airliner.

I recently moved from the U.S. (Kentucky) to France (Paris). I spend my days learning French, taking care of my baby daughter & fixing up our new apartment (currently converting a closet in to the baby's bedroom). Once my daughter is placed in daycare I'm going to find work (hopefully in a restaurant kitchen). I'm going to start working on computers at home until that happens (already have 3 customers lined up, which should generate enough money to buy some decent tools). A customer of my wife owns a web development company & is interested in meeting with me about working for him but I don't know if that'll pan out or not. Life is very good at the moment.
? :)
