I just drug out all my books and I'm contemplating embarking on a mission to build them all. I got a few big'uns in there but I wish I had more. Lots of small kits.

My friend has the most awesome lego collection ever. He has pretty much every star wars set ever made (including the huge deathstar/star destroyers), all the batman sets (Yes, they made batman lego). Loads of harry potter stuff... a glued together 18 inch tall yoda and harry potter.

...Oh yeah, he works in the Lego shop and gets most of it free because it's ex-display :-\

Very nice collection, that McDonalds one you have would actually sell for A LOT, check out amazon. I have a ton of legos, but they are boxed at my parents house in Florida, I have some of the bigger and older western, island native/pirate/imperial sets and some of the egyptian ones

Great collection!

I would have never stopped collecting but I had ran out of room and they are so damn expensive

???

There should be no debate. LEGOS is wrong and that's a fact. Anybody who debates is trolling.

This is stupid. The difference between lego and legos is like the difference between pizza and pizzas. Some people consider pizza to be plural by itself. Same with salad. Stop being a douche.

I didn't like LEGO toys when I was a child & quickly discarded the one set that I had. They appear to have become much more interesting since then so I'm looking forward to introducing them to by daughter when she's old enough.
? :)

LEGO is the proper name of a company. They would make their own rules on pluralization since they essentially invented the word (as far as the English dictionary is concerned) but it wouldn't make much sense to begin with because there can only be one LEGO.

For the purposes of this thread...LEGO is an adjective. Therefore LEGOS is and always will be wrong.

Ok, so I have Delicious Library, and a BOATLOAD of Lego at my parents' house. Currently, my parents are on holiday. When they return, my dad and I need to board out the loft in my new house. AT WHICH POINT ... I shall reclaim my boxes of lego and get scanning. And building <_<

Most of my lego is space lego. Starts at the Black...thing lego, then there's the magnet-y stuff, the space police (first and second time round), the ice-world space stuff, a couple of the mecha ones and probably a load i've forgotten about.

it doesn't matter at all if 'legos' is wrong you colossal douchers. caring about whether the plural someone uses to refer to these toy blocks fits with the corporate level decision is EUUUUUGHHHHHH. i mean, if they tried to push it on you, sure. otherwise, EUUUUUGHHHHHH.

I didn't have many as a kid, cause that **** was expensive, so when I did get any, they were small sets.

I do distinctly remember having one of the sets with this dude though:

I personally want to get the SSD Executor that I see on the Lego Star Wars sight atm. Looks pretty sweet and would love to spend time with my kids building that.
obviously you've never been able to harness the power of cleavage...

i used to have tons of pirate and medieval lego sets. almost all of them are gone now :( i still have the imperial guard ship, with the blue and white sails. used to have ALL of the wolf pack sets too!

on a side notE, a thing called a lego does not actually exist. LEGO is the company. a LEGO block is what you use to build a LEGO set. you can have "LEGO blocks" and "LEGO sets" but you really cant have anything called "LEGO's" unless you are refering to something that the company owns. like LEGOs corperate headquarters.
Welcome to the douchebag club. We'd give you some cookies, but some douche ate all of them. -Rob

Don't really remember it having a catapult, though. Anyway, I always ended up just building my own random crap. :)

Dude, screw that. Buy some for yourself! I'm 24 and I still budget cash for the occasional LEGO set. I even still get laid.

I used to have a bunch of fun with legos when I was younger. We mostly had medieval and pirate sets. My brother was especially talented, and could make whole castles just by looking at the picture and never referring to the instructions. It'd wind up looking perfect except he had a few pieces left over!

Then he graduated to those 3D puzzles, and we still have the ones he assembled at my folks' place. Titanic, Notre Dame, Neuschwanstein... crazy beautiful stuff.

BTW, yes, I said legos. I know it's incorrect, but that's just how we (my family) have always referred to them as. Inflexible nonsensical traditions for the win!
