So I got a cold recently. It's annoying because, unlike most people, the symptoms of my cold stay for at least 1-2 weeks, if not more.

If I find out you've posted here and are not sick, I'll cough on you and consider you sick. I encourage all others currently sick to do the same (and tell their own tales of woe). If you're not sick, go make us not sick, one at a time, and brag about how you never get sick. Until we cough on you, that is.

Yep, sick. Put me in bed for the past three days (of classes.) I almost never get sick too.

I was sick for the past week too. Over the weekend, all I did was sleep. I'm still coughing for some reason, there's no pain or stuffy nose. Feels like a bodily reaction.

Guys be careful this is Geb trying to trick you into an emergent forum game.

You're half-right. Ultimately, though, I'm just bored and looking for a time-waster while at work as it's rather slow right now.

My body's been fighting a cold for a week or so now. I ate something I was allergic to which I guess caused the cold to break through my immune system. Better today than yesterday...partially due to eating some green chile the other night...but instead of completely getting rid of the cold, my body has gone back to that stage of fighting it. I want either no cold or a full out cold just so this in between stuff can be over with! >:(

Only good thing about sick is the large amounts of tea you get to drink

I got sick just a couple days before my birthday, and stayed sick for like 2 weeks with fever, aches, all that crap.

My birthday is July 29th....

I had a really bad sinus infection and bronchitis when I was in boot camp. It kept coming back again and again. It caused me to have a reactive airway, which obviously, when in boot camp, is a really bad thing. I would pass out from lack of oxygen almost every day. I never really got better because of all the crap floating around in the air on Parris Island. I was sick for about 2 months, and they finally said **** it, discharged me, and sent me home. I had 11 training days left.

I'm not currently ill. Though there are a bunch of blood clots in my lungs and I'm on blood thinners, and about to go in for a rib removal two weeks from yesterday to prevent further clotting.

Yep. glad I'm not sick right now, I rarely get sick.

Are you mixing up "sick" with "being English"? :P

My wife, daughter & myself were all sick 2 weeks ago. It appears that our daughter was sick first & then she sent her germ minions forth to concur us. Luckily, we were all over it in about 3 days.
? :)

I too am sick. And like you, my symptoms definitely last a long long time. I'll usually be "fine" after a couple days of awesome sleep, but I still will have stuffed noses, little coughs, etc for up to 2-3 weeks.

I've got my annual allergies, which might as well be a cold. Coughing, sniffling, stopped up, runny nose, sneezing, etc. Odd, usually it happens in September.

Doctor Massassi says,

Stop getting sick. Get your noses up. Gosh. Which makes me remember Andy Whitfield.

HOLY ****, I CHECKED AND HE'S APPARENTLY DEAD. ****. This would have been funny if it wouldn't be so sad.
