To catch those who don't know up to speed -

Arrived home from work last night to police officers exiting my apartment. The door had been opened with a crow bar. The place was pretty much ransacked but they only took our laptops and some spare change that was laying around.

So. yeah. It's super ****ing ****ty, but I didn't lose much of anything I guess. Going to continue to watch for new IPs but I'm fairly certain Ill never see that laptop again.

Astoria Queens. Nice neighborhood, but it starts to get shady once you pass 21st street and head towards LIC.

Theres also a chance it'll appear on craigslist or at a pawn shop. If thats the case i'd essentially have to buy it and prove its mine to the police. In that scenario I believe they'd be able to nab the guy for selling stolen property? I think thats what they said at least.

CHECK OUT MY AWESOME REMODELED DOOR. you can see the marks from the 2 crowbars. The one on the top is a little bit of chipped paint, bottom is way easier to see.
