Not worried at all. Even by some ridiculous chance this BS of a bill passes, it'd be shot down in court so fast people would wonder why it ever happened. While Congress can be stupid sometimes, they're not that stupid. And even if they are, the justice system across the USA has been pretty awesome as of late, so I have full faith in them to keep Congress in line.

Pirate? **** that ****, boats? No thanks. Copyright infringement is so much simpler, plus, you're less likely to drown.

I wrote my congressmen about it with the form. I know they don't understand why it is a bad idea.
"Flowers and a landscape were the only attractions here. And so, as there was no good reason for coming, nobody came."

The ACLU does my dirty work for me. I just have to hit 'submit' & make the occasional donation.
? :)

Every single internet political organization, regardless of ideology, is rallying their troops against this at once.

I always sigh when I hear about this kind of thing. If they quit worrying about piracy would it go up? I doubt it. If it became legal to "pirate" stuff then the same people who pirate things would keep doing it and those that don't would probably still wouldn't. The DRM way of approaching things has always been a joke.
- Paranoia is simply having more information then everyone else -
- Ignorance is bliss, but knowing what you know, would you forget it to go back? -

im going to go ahead and reject the premise of your question.
just because they dont regulate large and important things they should, does not mean they are not eager to overregulate minutia that maybe they should not.

The ACLU and Anonymous will have none of this.

I agree with this bill, actually. There needs to be a higher policing of the internet of these piracy acts and dissension. If everyone would just obey the law and do as they're told, we wouldn't need to implement these things. I don't think the punishments are high enough for these law breakers. Copyright infringement should merit at least 10 years in prison.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Yes, everyone just do as you're told. Dissension must be punished. Stop questioning your overlords. Wait, do you capitalize "overlords?"
