Having watched The Matrix Revolutions, I can assure you that A.I. can be reasoned with.

yeah, because human pilots never mistake toys (or video cameras) for weapons.

I'm pretty sure it's all real. He doesn't really have anyone to sit him down and tell him how ridiculous he is.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

He gets by on two good things he was in charge of 30-40 years ago?

That's fairly accurate. Trump's only successful enterprise is marketing himself as a business genius to the aforementioned doddering nincompoops in the managerial class. He's essentially a con artist: he talks boring stupid people/banks into investing in his real estate projects, and when they don't turn a profit (they never do) he either forces them to invoke his contract's exit clause, forcing them to take ownership of the development in exchange for branding and a large salary, or he declares bankruptcy and forces his investors to accept a percentage share in lieu of actual payment.

His net worth is $0 ±1 billion, depending on which bankruptcy court you ask.

I don't understand why someone would be afraid of any machine rebelling against its programming and killing people when human beings satisfy this description.

Because movies.
