That's not a very accurate number because of pruning. Are pruned posts removed from users' post counts? If not, you could total user post counts to get the real number.

yup back in 1999 the forums crashed or something and all the post got wiped out. it was an horrorable event, i am still scarred from the great forum crash

You could take that list of all registered members (I don't have the URL otherwise I would do it) and write a script to get everybody's profile and add the total posts together.

Though the UBB control panel probably has a way to do this.

Actually, the great crash occured in late 2000. I had to re-register then, which is why my registration date isn't similar to Brian's. I believe these forums were first opened in July 1999, along with the Massassi.net domain. Prior to that, we were at jedinights.com with some old threaded forums.

After further research, I've confirmed that we moved to massassi.net on August 9, 1999. These UBB forums became open to the public on or shortly before that date.
