So far, I like Syndicate more than I liked Darkness II. Perhaps it's the nostalgia for the 1993 game (that I absolutely adored, albeit was too young to play properly), perhaps it's my love for the cyberpunk genre... But so far, so good.

I have yet to try Darkness 2 but I've found Syndicate very enjoyable. It does actually feel like the Syndicate world.

Darkness II is a good game in it's own right, but, just like you've said, Syndicate DOES feel like the Syndicate world. I wish it would've been on Steam, though... Anyway, gonna give it a few more whirls this Saturday.
