Fallout is one of few games I term "Perfect".
Deus Ex and Fallout are it really.

Fallout 2 is close, but there's a few bugs that degrade the overall experience. Still a Hell of a Game(TM)

I do love me some GoG. Fallout sounds Falltastic.

I played that game so many times that I remember the CD exploded in my CD drive from abuse (sending shards flying at me and missing my face by a few centimetres). That's how good that game is. :)

I can actually tolerate old and ugly games these days if I started playing them back when I didn't care about lousy graphics if I enjoyed the game otherwise (i.e. Deus Ex, which was already lambasted on its lousy 1998-era graphics when it was released in 2000). And sadly these days when I care more about those aspects, I can't get into games that I'd actually really want to play - like Planescape Torment - due to not getting past how they look.
