Yesterday I was thinking back to some of my early perceptions of the OT. When I was a kid I always thoughts it was kind of weird that R2 was always popping his wiener out and putting it into wall sockets. I guess I used to think he had to pee. . .

Anyone else have a similar experience? Or anything along those lines?

When someone first told me R2 was operated by a midget I thought they meant in the actual movie. I spent some time being pretty confused about that, wondering why he drove around in a tin-can suit and spoke in robot.

I actually saw ESB and ROTJ first because those were the only SW VHS available in the thrift store at the time. The next month I saw ANH (as in, the 1997 SE), so it was the first prequel to me. To date, I haven't seen the full original Star Wars and after watching several clips of certain scenes, I have absolutely no desire to ever bother with it.

I had to have been 4 or 5 when I first saw ANH, probably around 91 or 92. We had recorded it off the air so I saw it before any of the others. I guess in a liberal setting like this forum its only 'logical' to assume the OP is a homosexual because he drew comparisons to the similarly shaped apparatus in his pants to something R2 keeps behind closed doors except on special occasions.
I could see that if wall sockets were the equivalent of a wall's anus that would be a fair assumption. Or maybe if C-3PO got down on his knees and put R2's scomp link in his mouth you could assume I'm gay because I'm the one that brought it up.

It's just a bit... well, odd.. that a 4/5 year old would think R2-D2 has a penis and sticks it in the wall. I think at 4 or 5 I didn't know what a penis was even though I had one.

As a kid, I saw TESB before I saw the first movie, and thought stormies were robots.

I just found irrevocable proof that R2 isn't who he appears to be. In this photo you can clearly see that he is taking lessons from a grade-A space-pimp. R2 was having sex with those walls this whole time!

One of my best friends and I both hav^W er, had a huge childhood crush on R2. It was a total bonding experience realizing this.
