Poll.

Overall opinion. Balance right-wing conservatism and poor understanding of economics against compassion and general likability.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

I like you, Sarn. I think it's cool how you've grown up and become a responsible adult with a family. I hope your job doesn't negatively impact your family life. I remember when you posted about joining the navy and I thought "yeah, way to ruin your life there buddy" but it seems like it's worked out pretty good for you. You've come a long way from that kid who went around shirtless.

Heh, this was actually a (slightly drunk) joke post, and I wasn't expecting well thought-out responses, but thanks guys. That actually meant a lot to me.

On your note, Darth, I was recently impressed upon joining the Massassi Alumni group on facebook with how people are turning out with jobs with prestigious companies or going to college at prestigious schools. Guess it just goes to show that nerds do well in life. :)

Here the question arises; whether it is better to be loved than feared or feared than loved.

This poll needs an ambivalent option like 'meh'. I don't like or dislike Sarn but I do dislike when the loudest voices of Massassi focus their nerd rage on a single target. Occasionally I try to deflect some of this but I wouldnt call it like or support.

i think the first option, "Yeah, he's alright" is ambivalent enough for me to vote that option.

You seem like a nice person but I find the way you hold onto certain opinions and the way you are bad at arguing to be a bit obnoxious. Sometimes you surprise me with unexpectedly good wisdom, like Reed's thread on depression. We'd probably get alone well if we met in a bar.

Oh I think Sarn might have a couple of opinions that run contrary to that plan, Emon ;)

No "Got me preggers" option. That's why I couldn't vote either.
