NOW it's Server Axis. Their site looks tacky as hell, but they actually know how to run servers. They come with a lot of good recommendations from places like SomethingAwful.
It used to be Eleven2, which was basically the worst hosting provider I've used in my entire life.
Here's what Eleven2 did:
1. Took forever to route reverse DNS.
2. "Accidentally" cancelled my CPanel authorization resulting in CPanel being unusable for a day.
3. Had horrendous server performance. From what I could tell, it looked to be severe disk I/O problems on the VM host. Never was resolved.
4. Related to #3, their support tickets take days to receive a response, and often are closed without resolution.
5. The last straw was when they cancelled my hosting due to non-payment. This was, as I just now found out, because they removed my credit card from their billing system. Why did that happen? Because they were changing their control panel over to a new merged system. Did they notify me of this at any point? Absolutely not. I received an invoice as usual, expected it to charge, it didn't, service was suspended. I had to pay manually, having no idea why it had happened or even that it did happen.
