...it's time for Australia to disown this ****head I think:

http://entertainment.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4459,8306769%255E10431%255E%255Enbv,00.html

Any of you other countries want him? Please? America? UK? Come on Canada, we may even give you a swap agreement for Bryan Adams if worst comes to worst.

Let the negotiations begin.

Doesn't surprise me. Steve Irwin has always been a ****ing idiot. I kinda wish the baby had been eaten - maybe then he'd get arrested and thrown in prision, so we'd never have to see his stupid face ever again.

Or maybe it could just eat him instead? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] You know it's inevitable. One of these days that guy is going to be something's chewtoy and I for one will have the VCR on standby for that Funniest Home Video episode.

*shrug*

He's never really annoyed me that much. Certainly not enough to wish him or his family physical harm or death... Was it those quarantine ads, Jin? You'd seriously have no moral objections to the death of a 1 month old baby in order to rid our TV screens of someone you find mildly irritable? Yikes.

Any anyways, you can have a lot of fun with Americans and the stereotype he has painted of us.

He is right, though. The baby wasn't really in harm's way... no more than being in a car, anyway.

...that's a nice big 4 metre harm there if you ask me.

I do love Irwin's justification for it: "This kid has to grow up to be croc savvy," he told the Herald Sun. "I guess what I am doing is teaching him to be completely familiar with crocodiles...". Please...the kid is one MONTH old. I'm sure learning the ins and outs of dealing with large carnivorous predators are far down on today's to-do list below 'blink' and '**** self'.

Yes, but Crocodiles aren't driven man eaters... if the thing was charging and trying to bite off his legs, yes I'd think that's rather dangerous, but keep in mind he does this for a living... he understands how the function. It has no reason to eat that baby, and he knows that. The only reason it looks so scary to us is because we don't understand the situation like he does.

I disagree. The baby IS meal size for a crocodile. How would it know that it's a human and not food?

Sorry, that came across wrong...

It's not going to attack Irwin- it has no reason to, and even if it did there's no way he'd let it hurt that kid. Now if he were to drop it or something, then that'd be different, but even still I'd only consider him a moron simply for dropping a baby on concrete. Whether there's a crocodile there or not.

I admit, it's a little extreme, but I really think alot of people are overreacting. The kid's not in any more mortal danger than really any average day activity.

I would at this point like to note that Krok, or Krokodile, is in no way affiliated with crocodiles, and if he were to face one, the crocodile would eat him.

The stupid thing is, when the baby gets eaten, they'll make a ststement, "I don't know how this could have happened. It's such a tragedy."

Any idiot who has predators living in thier backyard (and there's lot's of them) can't be suprised when thier children go missing. It should be a law. No being surprised when your exotic pet lion eats half of your 6 year old (happened once :/).

It's like having a pool in the backyard. "My 4 year old drown. I don't know how this could've happened." This is a tragedy but when you have a pool in the backyard the chances of your kids dieing increases thousands of percent. :/

Yes, it really is. Even one month old kids are wriggly unpredictable little creatures and he is holding it with one hand. Given this fact his attention which would normally be 100% on the croc would be split between it and his baby. That's not good.

Also whilst Irwin may know a fair bit about crocs I'd hestitate to translate that into automatically trusting his judgement on them as he's not like any normal croc handler, no - he's an entertainer who has made his name by doing STUPID things with dangerous animals.

The fact is the kid had no right being in that pen in the first place, no matter what BS Irwin spouts about teaching the kid - it is barely a month old so that is automatically a pointless argument. The baby was in there because the press were there, it was a publicity stunt and one that has backfired on him.

He is a professional... so I would rather have him holding me 6 feet away from a Croc than anyone else.

Okay, I wasn't entirely serious. Just a bit of an over-exaggeration. I suppose I might have some moral objection to his kid being eaten to get rid of him...

The quarintine ads do give me the ****s, but I get more annoyed about other ads that use his character (like that "Barracuda" ad..) and always having to see some moron immitating him like a retard. And I'm really starting to get tired of the stereotype..

I guess it would be sad if his child got eaten.. but if Steve Irwin got eaten... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

To add some further info to this story, Irwin has been condemned not just by the governments and family groups, but others with much more extensive experience with crocodiles than him.

Also, a couple of years ago one of the croc handlers at Irwin's own zoo (where this occured) was taken to hospital after being mauled by one of these crocs and the zoo was fined for not properly reporting the incident.

There's no way Finland would accept him...

After all, we have Martti Servo and that is scary (he is cool though [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]). Then we have Cavey. People who drink window-cleaning stuff.

And then we have...

...

We have nothing. And we like it. We don't need more Irwin's, since Irwin Goodman was great. We don't need anyone to put a shame on Irwin Goodman.

No-one!
