I find kotaku is often amusing and interesting.
True they are far from top-notch professional, but that's part of the charm

The funny thing is Kotaku is probably more professional than most of the other Gawker sites. Deadspin is hilariously juvenile. They have broken a few major sports stories, though. Primarily the site exists to make me laugh about sports.

Definitely. Some of the best content on Deadspin is provided for free by a small collection of brilliant commenters who just spend all day, every day trying to out-joke one another. Deadspin does deserve props for doing some excellent reporting on occasion though.
