WHY IS THIS CRATE TEXTURE IN JEDI KNIGHT AND SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE AT THE VERY SAME TIME.

I'm pretty sure it's in dark forces too, but I can't find it. But srsly, both games having basically the game texture? CONSPIRACY :tinfoil:

Some of the textures in JKDF2 were also used in the old Outlaws game (I noticed at least 1 or more of the cliff-type textures being the same).

Dark Forces is still the SW game that feels most like Star Wars to me. SotE always came second.

At one point I really started wondering "why!? is it only because SotE was the first SW game I played and really liked?" and it kept on bugging me somewhere in th' subconscious.

Then it all made sense.

I remember noticing those boxes and thinking- hey, they are in Jedi Knight too!

One of the issues I've had with many of the Star Wars FPS games is that they feel rather empty- like there's few or no characters in all of the levels who aren't enemies. Obviously, much of this is due to hardware/software limitations faced by the earlier games, and it's been rectified in more recent titles (like KotOR).

JK textures also appear in Episode 1 racer. 00clite01.. it has panels and florescent lights on it.
