It's good that this wasn't close to as big a Tunguska. It's also amazingly lucky that it happened in an area were it could be captured on film, though less so for the people who were hurt/killed. I think, however, that I would be willing to sustain at least moderate injury for the privilege of being able to see something like this in person.
