We have a Tech Forum.

You know I don't complain about anything on these forums (liek trolls, newbs, 'post your...' threads etc.) but we do have a tech forum. I for one check them first when I come here. I know others do also.
Please use it. It would make me more inclined to help.

i stopped answering questions on the tech forum when most people started posting them in here =/

it'd be much better, in my opinion, if we took advantage of the tech forum but since it's not a really big deal... *shrug*

i thought about this being the anti-sig... or the sig virus... or the sig of your nightmares... but i decided that some painful rhetoric might work instead...
just kidding. ;)

I feel this way too, but I didnt want to say anything in any of the tech threads in the discussion forum, to prevent being labeled a member of the "Junior Admin Wannabe Patrol."

I usually check the tech forum, more to see if I can learn anything than if I can help, but helping is fun.

I'm convinced that when you post there, your computer knows it, and actually gets worse. It's like the dog that hides when you say the word "vet"...

I use the tech forum also, however, when we didn't have one, things seemed to be answered quicker in the discussion forum...

Um.. duh. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] If we don't have one, then of course they're going to get answered quicker on a board that does exist. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Yes but in the discussion forum, answers usually go like this

ThreadStarter: I have a problem with my windows install....

First person: Try... [sensible answer]

Second person: Use Linux/Firebird/whatever depending on problem

Third person: [Quotes second person]

Fourth person: [Quotes second person]

Fith person: Wtf, linux/firebird/whatever sucks!

---Small flame war here---

Next person: I just saw an orange duck!!
