You people are hilarious – just don't see the movie or don't take it so seriously – they're just comic book characters and these are just movies. Nothing to lose sleep over or to get angry about.

Ben Affleck is the Batman this thread deserves, but not the one it needs right now.

That joke is the joke Antony deserves, but not the one he needs right now.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

Why does Bruce Wayne wear the rubber suit? To make himself more intimidating.

Why did you think it was wise, at all, to compare Batman to Blondie? Have you even seen Clint Eastwood movies? Or is that just your huehuehuehuehueh synapses misfiring while pondering big scary man

If I'm pretentious, what do you call this? At what point do you decide you're better than everyone else in a conversation and give up on having human interactions that are normal? I mean, what do you expect when you act this way? Oh gee, I don't know what I was thinking, thanks for being hostile and insulting, that's exactly what our discussion about actors portraying a comic book character really needed, you've changed my opinion.

Considering the depth of my opinion about the character is 'sad man in rubber suit', the opposite of pretentiousness? I'm not the one sitting here, swirling a snifter, saying "hmm affleck has a rich, deep body and a woody aftertaste, but I think this entree would be better paired with a '65 eastwood. the chef's selection is so pedestrian. wouldn't you agree, nigel?"

The really awesome fight scene they showed at comicon a year or two ago, combined with the potential of Simon Pegg staring makes me incredibly excited to see that film, and I've never touched an ant-man comic. The only fear I have is that it'll be a horrible disappointment like Green Hornet was.

[If someone could translate the above text into something less pretentious, I'd appreciate it.]

I'd watch the Couchman movie even if he was played by Kate Hudson.

No such thing. You impose it. Everywhere on this forum, you look for places to be condescending. It's basically the major trend of all your posts over the years.

In fact, it probably drives most of the forum traffic these days.

Hey Michael, you should get in touch with ex-massassi The Last True Evil. These days he's become an Australian. Also a combination lawyer/stage actor. I bet you could go down there and write, direct, and star in THE COUCHMAN STORY with him.
