If you have substantial problems that are too overwhelming to sort out on your own, why not?
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Also, what's Hungarian healthcare like?

My head's ****ed up enough already for somebody else to screw with it too, I think.
No such things like overwhelming problems, IMO, only underwhelming actions. ;)

No idea, rarely sick. ;)
It's OK, I suppose. I've also apparently saved up some monies for a private healthcare card thingie as well over some time for emergencies if I'll ever need it, so I think I have that more or less covered.
If somebody wants to go to a psychologist I think it's more of a private business like thing.
Or what do you mean?

Is 'not a poem' the beatnik version of 'no homo' ?

I had to reread your post several times to be certain that it wasn't secretly a poem after all.

Watched the youtube video, but call me oldschool because I don't think poetry should need a visual component to define it. So all that crap like 'ly', "i" (with fingerprint), and that "mn" thing shouldnt count. IMO, it's art but not poetry.

I did think "Fleas" or "Ode to Goldfish" were good examples of minimalist poetry tho.

when i get ****ed up in the head i talk to my father, my girlfriend, or one of a few choice friends. if i had something more serious that was wrong with me, something internal that wasn't just being in a ****ty situation, i would see someone who has a degree to help me. just see someone if the former isn't an option or the latter is your case. or go talk to a priest in a confessional i guess?
I had a blog. It sucked.

Last priest I've met invited me for a shot of vodka, so there might be something to it. ;)
I mean, last year when I turned 26 I was mega-depressed. Hell, not sure if I'd be around if not for my kids; when you've kids, your life doesn't belong just to you, yadda yadda. Breaking Bad. ;) So anyway, yeah, no matter what happens I'll kind of have to press on anyway, just want a boat and a Porsche and a movie contract (w/ thanks to Jon'C), hehe. ;)
I decided to change my body and write a book by the time I'm 27. I did both, it's not enough.
But then again... It never is.

Last time I was depressed I was able to get out of it thanks a childrens cartoon.
That was literally the catalyst for a huge paradigm shift in my life it's the weirdest possible thing.

how to know your problems aren't as serious as you think they are: cartoon ponies are responsible for setting the direction of your life
2013-09-30, 4:28 PM #26
I never said I had serious problems, I just fell into a rut. I had this feeling that something needed to change for weeks leading up to that, also starting school again gave me something to set my mind on. My life is weird.
In an alternate world I watched Star Trek or something, I dunno basically I was all "Man, I shouldn't judge people for liking things." and then I looked at myself and decided I was ****, man I was ****.
I still am **** but I'm like, polished ****.

If you posted this then you DO need to see a psychologist and you almost certainly know you do but are stifling that voice. You probably know exactly what I'm talking about.

The "lone wolf" attitude for people with real depression is almost always a bad idea and is exactly how you'll end up on your death bed decades from now with a long list of regrets. Don't do it.

I would think this would indicate the opposite.

A shrink would probably just tell me I might have the 'tism, and am a bit of a loner.

none of this would be a surprise, i have no mental problems worth noting or bothering an actual professional with
