What's your favorite product ever that you've used?

You could get a BSc in pure math at UCR without touching abstract algebra, but it's obviously not advised.

The only thing my dept does right for undergraduate is analysis, we have good profs and use baby rudin, our algebra segment is way too short, leaving us 10 weeks to cover rings through Galois theory, which was a sprint and easily the hardest undergraduate course I've taken

Ever grad student is going to read Lang at some point, so don't feel so bad if your algebra feels weak right now. I don't think modern algebra can easily be covered in a satisfactory way at the undergrad level anyway.

Ah, okay. I think you'll be fine giving Mumford's Red Book a shot, but I confess I don't speak from experience and I don't want to mislead you. You could also start looking at some grad level algebra books, such as Lang (with Bergman's notes), or Aluffi, or even audit a grad level algebra course.

I'm registered for a graduate level algebra course this fall. Besides undergraduate analysis I have nothing I need to take at an undergraduate level. I appreciate the suggestions though, Im going to have two weeks of pure nothing to do coming up

Yeah, the course I'm taking uses Hungerford, but I expect to retake algebra at whichever graduate program I get into.

Ah, OK. Sounds like you're in a great spot to start learning about algebraic geometry this year.

Have any of you lot actually ever used one? I'm all for male sex toys but there's this small part of my brain that's going "A RUBBER VAGINA IS A BIT WEIRD THO".
nope.

True, it probably is as weird as the Finns themselves. But is it unnatural as using a spear to hunt animals? A lever to lift objects?

To be honest tho ... How do you know a fleshlight is full...?
