I'm usually not interested in gimmick machines but I recently learned of this machine and I'm curious what people think about it.

I think it looks cool but I wouldn't buy anything other than standard parts and a clean operating system install disk for a gaming or personal pc. I hate all the crapware these companies shove on the machines and I hate all the proprietary crap they use inside that won't be upgradable. I can't say for certain that this computer has anything proprietary but that's a lot of the problem. The "specs" don't say if they're using standard motherboard sizes, removable memory, etc.

If you were going to buy an off-the-shelf box, check out this one:

From my brief research on YouTube it's completely upgradeable and they're even selling the case alone if you want. I started pricing parts for the base model at New Egg and the total was escalating fairly rapidly.

You should watch the 2 minute 5 second 100% full gameplay video of TODOA 2- on that computer.

It's a "gaming" PC, for $1800, that ships with only 8gb of ram.
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

I'm aware that the base specs aren't particularly impressive. It's the internal configuration of the case that's interesting.

Wow, TODOA 2 [Minutes Long] wasn't actually an exaggeration.
I had a blog. It sucked.
