Sweet. If I remember right WDFuse exported DF levels to the 3D Build format which I remember only trying once. I haven't played around with Duke Nukem for a long, long time. I picked it up in the Xbox Arcade for 360 several years back. Last time I tried installing via DOSBox the install kept hanging on the patch to 1.4 (which is the original game disc, then "Plutonium Pack" to upgrade to Atomic Edition). I downloaded an Atomic Edition version but never tried it. Don't even know if I still have that. One of my old PC Gamer discs actually has the full version of Duke it out in DC (I think that's the correct title) hidden on it. I'll have to keep this on the list of games to get back to. Currently slowly plodding my way through the Warcraft II expansion. Two orc missions left then on to humans. Never finished it back in the day.

Hmm, didn't realize they ripped the assets/artwork. That sucks but oh well.

Well, I'm not that sure anymore if they are, considering that this mod has plenty of enemy types etc. that weren't in Dark Forces.

And comparing the DF and DukeF repeaters aren't exactly identical...

So they look so much like the DF ones - for example, the legs of those stormtroopers shooting at you are in identical positions - so that I immediately thought that they had just been lifted from DF.

Anyhow, all things considered, it's a pretty well-made mod all around.

It looks like the repeater graphic is the same, but it's got the wrong aspect ratio in the Duke mod.

Somewhat off topic but thinking about the Build and Jedi engines had me remembering that Jedi was somewhat improved in Outlaws and I was wondering if anyone remembers playing any significant custom missions based on that version of the engine. I don't remember playing any but I see that there are many to download.

The lightsaber mechanics look pretty good.
