What is StarSquads? I did a quick search but it mostly returned a bunch of cosplay crap.

Well at least it'll have a default XB1 controller map since I don't have $200+ for even a T16000m right now. I'll probably get one eventually, since it might motivate me to get back into Elite: Dangerous too.

So, I downloaded "StarSquads" on my Xbox last night and just went to look it up, 10 hour trial but the game is on sale for like $24, and now it needs another 3gb update. Smh.

So even less related to Star Squads than Elite Dangerous but Epic Games has Alien Isolation free today. I think it's an outstanding game.

I played this a little while ago. Mouse and keyboard was hard to control, HOTAS was cooler but I actually found it kind of exhausting because of the amount of hard turning I had to do compared to something like Elite/DCS. I have a better gaming PC + VR headset now so I might go back and give it another go.

I set it down after the last Operation started; the match-making is still terrible so having really lopsided teams was common when hardly anyone had their rankings set, which of course kills your own ranking. I may pick it up soon now that it's been a while so ranks should be more or less set. I still like the game itself, but not the **** match-making.
