I just watched this movie tonight. All I can say is... wow. I loved it. I can see why it has been hailed as the best Japanese movie ever.

When Kyuzo returns from getting a gun, hands it off, says, "Killed two," then sits down, is one of the coolest parts of any movie I have seen. I love that guy. I think I know where "Bob" came from in The Last Samurai...

Yeah, as much as I love Godzilla, The Seven Samurai's the best Japanese movie.

Another good samurai movie is Sword of Doom. Saw it on IFC's Samurai Saturday a while back when I had a rare 2 hour bout of TV-browsing. Man, I can't believe I watched that much IFC. I hate that channel.
