Cool. Gateway has just put up $30 million for a football game between USC and LSU to see who actually is No. 1.

Let's hope the NCAA and both schools agree to it. It should prove to be an awesome game.

After my last gateway (6 years ago) I will never buy a pre-built pc again.

Was there some kind of controversy involved in a different game or something? I don't follow American football...

Yes. There are two polls that rank college football teams in the US. One poll is the BCS poll (don't ask anyone to explain. It makes no sense) and the top two teams play for the BCS championship. Oklahoma and LSU were the no. 1 and no.2 teams in that poll. LSU won, making them the BCS champion. UCS was no. 1 in the other poll (selected by sports writers) with Oklahoma and LSU behind USC. USC won their bowl game, giving them the no. 1 ranking in this poll. Thus, there are two no. 1 ranked college teams in the US: USC and LSU.

I think they should play jsut for the hellof it. It would be cool, and it wouldbe a good game.
