You might want to link to this:

page as that is where the article starts, but yeah, very interesting read.

Cool pictures along the side and top too. The one on the top of the first page looks like it's from the scene where the Witch King destroys Gandalf's staff on the battlements of Minas Tirith, which didnt make it into the normal cut. Bring on the special edition [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Yeah, LoTR was the only movie that I honestly couldn't tell that Gollum and the other stuff was CGI. (I KNEW it was, I just couldn't pick out anything.)

Gollum was brilliantly done. Some of the other things (e.g. Legolas on the Oliphaunt/Mumakil and the charge of the Rohirri or whatever) were obviously CG, but it was simply a case of losing the suspension of disbelief; nothing could have made that shot look real, even if it had been shot with the real actor.

In conclusion RotK was much better than Die Another Day.

TTT:EE DVD has an awesome feature on Gollum from creating the charcater to Andy Serkis' acting. Well worth watching.

The DVD extras on RotK are going to be awesome.

Weta is going to do the special effects for the Narnia movies as well. I can't wait.

1. Narnia? Awesome!

2. On page 7, it is still hard to tell that Gollum is fake even when you get a good look at him.

3. RotK is the schiznit.
